What it measures

Goals the player’s team conceded while they were on the pitch. Like the clean sheet, it is a team fact applied to an individual.

How the mainstream game treats it

Minus 1 point per 2 goals conceded, for goalkeepers and defenders only. Two goals costs one point; three still costs one; four costs two.

How to score it in your league

A per-N rule with a negative value, weighted to the positions you want exposed. Setting midfielders and forwards to zero is the conventional choice.

A sensible starting value

−1 per 2 is the familiar baseline and is deliberately gentle. −1 per goal roughly doubles the volatility of defensive assets, which some leagues want.

Watch out for

Remember it stacks with the clean sheet not being paid. A defender in a 4-0 defeat loses the 4 they might have earned and takes a further penalty on top — the swing is larger than the rule alone suggests.

Every stat here is scoreable in a league you build. See custom scoring or the scoring rules guide.
