What it measures
Minutes on the pitch. Almost never scored per minute; it is used as a band to distinguish "played" from "played properly", and as the condition other rules gate on.
How the mainstream game treats it
1 point for playing at all, 2 for passing 60 minutes. That threshold is reused as the gate on clean sheets.
How to score it in your league
A bounded rule with bands. The catalogue permits per-action on it, but paying per minute means a full match is worth ninety points, which is a league about nothing else.
A sensible starting value
1 and 2 across a 60-minute boundary is the tested shape. Raising the appearance points compresses the field — everyone gets them — so it lowers variance rather than rewarding anything.
Watch out for
This is the stat most conditions are built on. If you change the boundary here, check every rule that gates on minutes_played still uses a matching threshold.
