Introducing Custom Fantasy Leagues

A fantasy football platform where the scoring rules, the player prices and the squad economy belong to the league playing them.

2 min read

Every fantasy football game makes the same set of decisions on your behalf. A goal is worth this. A clean sheet is worth that. Defenders are punished for conceding, and almost nothing that happens in midfield without a goal at the end of it is worth anything at all.

Those are reasonable defaults. They are also just defaults — and they quietly decide what kind of football your league values. A game that pays nothing for a tackle is a game in which defensive midfielders do not exist.

Every league eventually has the argument about what the scoring should be. In every other game, that argument ends with a shrug.

So we made the rules the product

On Custom Fantasy Leagues you choose which match statistics score, how each one pays, whether it pays differently by position, and whether it pays at all unless some condition holds. You set the budget, the price bands and the transfer economy. Then your league runs on exactly what you specified — live, every gameweek.

Some of what that makes possible:

  • A league where defensive contribution is worth as much as an assist.
  • A league where goalkeepers are priced against other goalkeepers rather than against forwards, so the best one costs what he is worth.
  • A league where a clean sheet only counts if the defender actually played the whole game — or one where it counts regardless, because you decided the sixty-minute rule was arbitrary.
  • A league where nobody from your rivals’ club is eligible, because that is funnier.

The part nobody sees

The feature that turned out to matter most is the one you never look at directly: player prices are computed from your rules, not copied from somewhere else.

If your league pays defenders for interceptions, the defenders who make interceptions are suddenly worth far more than any off-the-shelf price list says. Borrowing prices from another game would leave half your pool mispriced from the first deadline, and the league would be decided by who spotted it first.

So every eligible player’s previous-season output is run through your scoring rules to produce a projection, and that projection is what prices them. Change a rule, recalculate, and the whole market moves to match.

What it costs

One credit per gameweek, charged once when you publish a league. A full 38-gameweek season costs 38 credits.

New accounts get 10 credits free, with no card required. Joining someone else’s league is free — forever, for as many leagues as you like. Only the creator ever pays, and only once.

No feature is held back behind a paywall. A free league scores exactly like a paid one, because it is the same league.

Where we are

Premier League, 2026/27. One competition, covered properly, rather than five covered badly. More are on the roadmap.

Classic format runs today. Draft and auction are designed and planned — and we would rather say that plainly than badge them “coming soon” for a year.

Start one

If your league has always wanted to score something it could not, build it and find out whether you were right.
